The 3rd annual Ware Food Festival munches its way into town this coming Bank Holiday Monday, kicking off a fun-packed summer of events and activities for the local community.
It’s all starts in Tudor Square at 11am, with punters given four hours to feast on the local culinary delights on offer.
In the square itself you’ll find the following stalls of deliciousness:

The Hertford Porker
Choc Me Up
McCarthy’s Country Stores
The Village Taverna
Eat Drink Ideas
Sun & Moon Juice
Olive & Garlic
And if that’s not enough to get your laughing gear around, all these activities are part of the festival too:
Free Wine Tasting - Wood Bros, the makers of fine furniture both traditional and contemporary and one of Ware’s oldest companies, have teamed up with Village Wines to bring you FREE wine tasting in their premises in Marsh Lane (left at the new Premier Inn). 12 – 2pm.
Family Trivia Competition & Free Prize Draw: Take part in the Wood Bros fun ‘family trivia competition’ en route from Tudor Square to their showroom, with a FREE prize draw and kids attractions (please see the Wood Bros stand in Tudor Square for details). 11am – 3pm.
Town Tour: Enjoy a tour of historic Ware with one of our experienced guides. Leave from outside Ware Library at 2.30pm. A donation of £3 per person is always appreciated.
Concert in the Priory Grounds: The Broxbourne Community Choir will be performing at Ware Priory 3pm-5pm. Free (inside if wet).
Place House Hall: Serving up their delicious Cream Teas 2pm-5pm.
Literally more food and food-related activity than you could shake a, um, cake in at – so get yourselves involved.
