The newly-refurbished Ware Lido will re-open its doors for swimmers this Saturday, May 28th.
It was officially opened earlier today by Ware Town Mayor Jonathan Kaye and Sir Andrew Witty, Chief Executive Officer at GSK, which donated funding for the refurb.

Improvements to the 80 year-old facility include a newly designed entrance, improved access with wheelchair ramps, new male and female changing areas, a new family changing area, new disabled facilities and an event room for private pool hirers.
Outside there is a new grassed area and the paving around the pool has been replaced.
The public will be able to use the pool for the first time on Saturday from 1pm – full pricing and admissions info can be found here.
Well done to everyone who helped make the project happen – we can’t wait to try it out!
