Saturday saw the annual Ware Festival get underway in exciting style, with a boat parade up the River Lea, a Carnival through the town centre and a fair in the Priory grounds.
The crowds were out in force and even a wee bit of rain couldn’t dampen spirits, as Ware showed off just what a fun and family oriented place it is.
Big thanks must go to the hardworking team of volunteers who helped organise everything, many of whom belong to one or more of our many local organisations, including Ware Town Council.
The Ware Festival continues throughout July, with activities taking place across each weekend during the month, culminating in the Rock in the Priory music festival on the 24th – Full listings can be found here.
In the meantime, here are some of your pictorial (and video!) highlights of Saturday’s action, courtesy of Twitter and Instagram!
